Please Advise:

This controller does not regulate the output voltage to your LEDs. This simply means that the voltage of your

power supply for the controller (5-24V) MUST match the voltage requirement of your LEDs. For example if your

LEDs require 5V the power supply that is powering the controller MUST also be 5V.

Precautions:

1. As previously advised, please make sure that your power supply matches the voltage required by LEDs (5-24V).

2. Although there is no option for WS1812B and WS2813 on the settings page, WS2811 works for both ICs.

3. This controller only supports LEDs with smart ICs, it cannot drive regular RGB/RGBW LED strips with no ICs.

4. Smartphone MUST be IOS 10.0 or Android 4.4 or later versions.

Functions:

Botton:

1, Click on the button: Switch AP/STA mode;

2, Long press the button: Enter the SmartCongig mode;

LEDIndicator:

1. Blue: AP(Access Point) mode;
2. Green: STA(Station) mode;

Working Mode

A.AP(Access Point) mode: Controller and Phone connect directly, the controller works as an access point.

1. Go to your phone Settings, find and connect the controller(named like SP108E_XXX, the default password is (12345678);
2. Open the LED Shop App, then the controller name will be shown on the device list;

B.STA(Station) mode: Controller and phone are in the same WiFi network, in this network, users can operate the controller smoothly.

There are two ways to configure the controller into the local WiFi network:

• SmartConfig Automatic Mode (This mode requires your phone has connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi)

1. Make sure your phone is connected to a WiFi network, by pressing the Add Device button;
2. Input your WiFi password, press the next step, and select Automatic mode, long-press the button of the controller until the LED indicator flashes green; 3. Pressing the OK to confirm and wait for the configured processing to finish;
3. After the configuration is finished, the LED indicator will turn solid green, drag to refresh the device list, and the controller will be shown on the device list.

• Manual Configure Mode (This mode requires your phone has connected to a 2.4GHz WiFi or has connected to a 2.4GHz&5GHz combined WiFi network)

1. Make sure your phone is connected to a WiFi network, by pressing the Add Device button;
2. Input your WiFi password, press the next step, and select Manual mode, click the button of the controller to switch the controller to AP mode(the LED indicator will turn solid blue);
3. Go to your phone Settings, find and connect the controller(named like SP108E_XXX, the default password is 12345678);
4. Go back to the APP and press the next step to start the configured processing; 5. After the configuration is finished, the LED indicator will turn solid green, drag to refresh the device list, the controller will be shown on the device list.

Removing device: The user can select the controller and remove it from the network by pressing the Remove Device button on the APP, or just clicking the button of the controller to switch the controller into AP mode.

How to set up the controller?

The first method is to connect the controller.

Search “LED Shop” in the app store or scan the QR code on the box. Install the app on your smartphone or Tablet.

The first method is to connect the controller. The controller works as an access point. Open the wifi setting page of your cell phone, find and connect the controller (named SP108E_xxx, the default pin code is 12345678).

 

The second method is to connect the controller.

Turn off the power of the controller. Wait for 1 minute.

Connect your phone to your wifi network, and open LED Shop APP.

When the controller is not connected to any WIFI network, power on the controller, and the controller will remain in Wait-For-Connect mode for 20 seconds;

Within 20 seconds, press the Add Device button, input the WIFI pin code, and press the OK to confirm. Then wait for the configured processing to finish;

When the controller successfully enters the WIFI network, it will be shown on the device list. ( Choose one of the two connection methods)

Set the R/G/B sequence, and make it synchronize with your lamp.

Choose the IC type, making it the same as your lamp

Set the pixel number of each section.

Set a number of sections. The total pixels should be no more than 2048.

 

Two Connect Modes

• AP (Access Point) mode:

The controller and Phone connect directly, and the controller works as an access point.

• STA (Station) mode:

The controller and phone are in the same WIFI network, in this network, users can operate the controller smoothly.

Please note:

Sometimes, this controller is pretty hard to use in the STA mode. Use another two or three smartphones, all of them install the app and all the phones try the STA mode at the same time. Try more times. It will succeed. The first time is pretty hard, but later will be easier.
